Low-Cost Veterinary Services
At our Metro Action Clinic in South Boston, MA,
Alliance for Animals provides low-cost spay/neuter and other veterinary
services for both cats and dogs.

The Alliance for Animals has closed it's No-kill Cat Adoption Center in
Arlington, MA. Please call 617 268 7800 for information requests, adoption
information, volunteer info, or just about any other info you need. Someone
will get back to you via phone as soon as they can.
Rabbit Rescue is an Alliance for Animals program that works
collaboratively to provide assistance with foster care, spay/neuter, and
adoption of pet rabbits.
Community Outreach and Education
AfA works closely specific inner-city neighborhoods and communities where
the need is great, and the resources limited. We make regular visits to
assist residents with animals-related problems and provide education about
animal care.
AfA trains Neighborhood Liaisons in specific communities to look for
abandoned animals and unneutered pets in their own neighborhoods. They
provide ongoing education to their neighbors about the responsibilities of
pet ownership and the needs of animals. Through their efforts, continuing
education is sustained from within the community and provides the residents
with resources for self-help.
Humane Population Control for Feral Cats
AfA assists interested individuals with trapping, spaying or neutering,
and caring for feral cats. In addition to low-cost
veterinary services, we provide trapping information
and guidance and advice.
Public Service
AfA responds to hundreds of calls each week for assistance with a wide
variety of animal-related problems. Our services are not just about animals;
we are a life line for the elderly, poor and disabled who would otherwise
have nowhere to turn for relief and assistance with their pets.
AfA provides educational materials on a variety of humane awareness
topics for public distribution, including our quarterly newsletter, Ally.
